pre-req for ceh

Hi guys!
Does anyone really now what is required in order to be able to take CEH exam?
I've heard that your company or your boss has to sign a term so thay can let you take the test...Does enyone know if they verify this kind of information? Anyone studied for the test and could not take it because of some burocracy?

At least 2 years of experience or attend a course.
