I think, you need only cisco curriculum (texts on cisco web site)
Is it true, nothing more you need to pass the exam.

It needs a lot of reading for sure.
I would recommend you to read Sybex 5th Edition alongwith boson netsim. for practice exams you can use testking material.
thanks.

Check out How2Pass.com.

The site is a pay site, but each section of the CCNA is broken down so that they are not so intimidating.  The sections contain anywhere from 70  to 110 questions and you can break those down into 5, 10, 20, etc.  There is also a "final" section that includes random questions from all of the other sections.

I think the cost was around $39 but I feel it was money well spent.

Good luck on whatever you choose to do.

Here is something that I found recently which has helped greatly in my study: http://www.thebryantadvantage.com.  Going through all the info in Cisco Press stuff puts me to sleep.  I have some knowledge of routers and ATM switches from the workplace, but the bryantadvantage package seems to pull out all the knowledge I need and organize it for me.  Just my 2 cents worth.

As most have put, Testking and Boson's are good.  There are also 21certify.com, Cisco Academy, and Boson Network Simulators.  These are still in Beta 3, but once finished, they will all full integrate with each other very well.  Todd Lamalle has a router simulator that is great, too.

I recently recertified for my CCNA and it was harder than the one I took in 2000.  It included OSPF and active simulations to configure, debug, and resolve OSPF issues.

Lastly, I recommend for those that are new to Cisco (3 years or less), to take the two part Cisco CCNA exam.  This will allow you to focus on more tasks on each test than covering all 38 topics within 55-65 questions to be completed in 90 minutes.

I found that the Sybex book is better than the Cisco Press book. In my humble opinion. Smiley

one of the good materials would be the academy website. the good thing about it is that you get a lot of easy to understand flash presentations and you can actuall write assessments. the only thing is that looking for some Correct Q&A s is very useful too.

Thank you so much for all these people that gave me words of support and courage that I can pass the CCNA exams. I feel I can really pass because of your words of encouragement.

My problem now is simulators. I cannot afford even $100 to buy a simulator. Please where can I find one free or someone to give me copy of his own?

Please help me cos I cant make it without those simulators. Help me Please.
