Use pass4sure and you are guaranteed to pass.  Hands down.  I am a believer after passing with a 950 today with 3 days prep using pass4sure.

I don't agree with jrmstr33 philosophy.

The field is already full of incompetent network engineers. Getting the certification this way is just another manner to unqualify cisco certifications...

the only way is the old way.. studying studying studying !!!! (and possibly some hands on experience)

Than when you are really prepared you can try either pass4sure or TK or still AT, but just to verify that you got the right knowledge to sit the exam.

Otherwise everything is useless

IT is one thing to pass with 950, but can you really do the Real Time Job, do u have experience with actual routers configuring ISDN, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, STP, Subnetting, VLSM if you should go and apply for a job that reqiures CCNA Cert and the HR asks you question relating to how you would go about fixing problems, if you can't do CCNA handson that CCNA will not do u any good, on the first days of the Job you encouter a problem a true CCNA will be able to solve the problem but if you can't the Hiring Personell will realise you are a faurd and can get u ban from Cisco Certs for life and this would de-value the CCNA certification.

ITS ONE THING TO PASS BUT EXPERIENCE IS WHERE ITS AT

I think a CCNA book from Sybex is very good for prepare yourself and you must practice with Cisco devices or simulate as well.

Good luck!!

Best way to get any cert is the to study and study and then study some more.  Hands on experience is the best learning tool to me.

Yeah, and to get hand on experience you can get hold of router simulations and practise everyday. Its very similar to working with the actuall routers and u can watch some cideos to see how the routers look and their interfaces and that is very near to real world hands on experience

IF your criteria is just passing then go ahead and and use pass4sure but i think companies who hire you are smart enough to judge how in depth knowledge you have so for me your concepts should be very clear about routing protocols must have some hands on experience or should do some practice on Boson or netsim to clear the exam

I would recommend that anyone attempting the CCNA test be ready to troubleshoot VTP and OSPF.
