ALong with the Subex book and the wendel odom book, the Cisco website provides loads of resources. You can still look for other ebooks on ebooks websites. The Sybex will cover almost everything you need to know, but you may like the style of the authors in other books. Just adopt curiosity in your learning and keep looking at any resources you can get hold of.

Good Luck

In my point of view the Sybex Edt.5 Self Study Guide for CCNA is outstanding.

I found that the Sybex book, along with the Odom books were a great study aid.  Don't forget to throw in some router sims and you should be good to go.

I'll give you a good advice dude.

Fisrt, you have to assess yourself on how deep is your CCNA knowledge. If you think you need to start from the basics then, Tod Lammle's Sybex books would fit you. But if you rate yourself a little higher and would like to dig a little deeper, then you ought to try Cisco Press's books. Whatever you choose, you're on the right track.
